New Season Training

Youth registration takes place on Wednesday August 31st at 7pm, with rugby training returning the following week for all teams. Training for this age group takes place each Wednesday from 7.30pm-9pm. This section has teams from U13 to U17.

Mini’s rugby training returns on Thursday September 1st from 7pm-8pm. The mini’s section caters for boys and girls aged from 5 through to 11.

Senior training is each Tuesday and Thursday from 7.30pm-9pm.  New players are welcome in all sections.

Leinster Rugby Summer Camp at Balbriggan RFC

The players and coaches had a very enjoyable week at the Leinster Rugby Summer Camp at Balbriggan RFC. Over 100 children took part in this years camp. The children had lots of fun all week, making new friends and learning new skills. From Rope Walk to Bowhill – A History of Rugby in Balbriggan

On Friday May 2oth Balbriggan RFC launched their book ‘From Rope Walk to Bowhill’.  The night was a great celebration for the club with hundreds of people in attendance, from former players, to currents players, and also descendents of the first players involved in Balbriggan RFC back in the 1920’s. Balbriggan v Ardee in Jenkinson Cup Final

Balbriggan’s IXV played in the Jenkinson Cup final on Sunday April 10th against Ardee. The match was played at Boyne RFC. Balbriggan kicked off the scoring with a penalty scored by Jay Mullen. A further penalty soon after gave Balbriggan a 6 v 0 lead. Connor Burke went over for the first try of the day, after stealing an Ardee line-out.
