On Friday May 2oth Balbriggan RFC launched their book ‘From Rope Walk to Bowhill’. The night was a great celebration for the club with hundreds of people in attendance, from former players, to currents players, and also descendents of the first players involved in Balbriggan RFC back in the 1920’s. The book tells many great stories from the past and stretches back to the 1880’s and contains photographs of all current age grade teams from u6’s/7’s right up to the senior teams which were taken earlier this season. There are many photographs of players and teams from earlier times too. The book is a limited edition and will be a keepsake for those involved in days gone by as well as those involved today at any level in rugby in Balbriggan.
