The latest addition to BRFC are the Bulldogs, our mixed ability team (male). Mixed ability is a 15 aside game played by teams that are a mix of disabled and non disabled people on each team. It is full contact rugby with uncontested scrums, played at a much slower pace than a IXV game!
There are a number of our tag playing Stingers who want to step up to this level, and we are now looking for those adults who may want the opportunity to play the game, but not at the ferocity of one of our senior teams. The game would be a great way for our coaches who have never played at adult level to get a real feel for the game! It may also suit some of you who are newly retired from playing.

To get it off the ground we are looking to have a training session every second Monday night starting next Monday 14th October at 7.30pm. Please come along and help create a new Balbriggan team.
