Club Clean-Up
A club clean-up evening has been organised for Friday August 11th from 6.30pm-9pm. Many hands make light work so all help is gratefully appreciated. Lots of jobs from litter picking to strimming verges and general tidy-up of clubhouse needed. Take pride in YOUR club by giving an hour or so to make it shine.
Annual Tag Rugby Day
The annual tag rugby day took place at Balbriggan RFC this afternoon. There was a good turnout for an enjoyable afternoon of tag rugby. The senior winning team was led by Balbriggan’s Anthony Whelan. The winner of the senior kicking competition was Glenn Healy. The youths also played tag this afternoon, and this was followed by a junior kicking competition. Conor Colman won the kicking competition, with Karl Hartfiel in second and Daragh McFadden in third.
Thanks to all those who participated and those who helped make the day so enjoyable. Thanks to Mal Malone and Paul Cullen for looking after the BBQ today. Thanks to Sean Malone and Ivan McFadden for all their work in preparing for today. Thanks to our referees, Kevin Colman, Keith Geraghty and Ivan McFadden. Finally, thanks to Dave Fitzgerald for loaning us the assault course for the kids today.
Here are some photos from the day.
