CONGRATULATIONS
Well done to the U12 on their performance at the Aviva today but against a heavier Portarlington side they got their first experience of Midland Beef. They were making a great comeback and looked just about to score when the ref ended the match. What a thrill to get to play at the Aviva on the same pitch as all their heroes and see Leinster get a well deserved win against Munster.
We did note that Club President did try to wave to everyone in the stadium. The Bulldog is not sure who was more excited for the day, Dave or the kids. We hope all the parents and friends who came along to support had a good day put at Leinster Rugby.
Caroline McFadden was named the Leinster PRO for September. An award well deserved for all the great work she has done in promoting the Club from her weekly photography, looking after the Web and Facebook sites and of course all her work on the Book. Remember there are still some books available and they would make great Christmas presents for your friends abroad.

BRICK IN THE WALL
Just a reminder, we will hopefully be starting the Club house build by early next year at the latest. While we have some grant money we do need to look at raising some funds ourselves. We are considering a year long fundraiser where we ask families to buy a brick – the cost will be c€25 a month. As we are registered as a sports club for every taxpayer who buys a ticket we are able to claim a further €80 back in tax. We need to look to raise a significant sum to maintain our finances in good shape.
This is just to give people very advance notice and we will give you further detail nearer the year end.
AWAY INTERNATIONALS
If anyone is interested in going to the away internationals would they please send an email to the Hon Sec, Robert Cashell no later than Wed 19th Oct.
The dates of the games are:
Sat 4 Feb Scotland 14.25
